I am running for office because I believe that the American Dream belongs to all of us.

Every Election Day, we find out who we are and where we are going as a Party. Who we vote for is a referendum on what we believe in – and it shows us how much faith we’re willing to put in ourselves.

I believe in economic justice and the right to a living wage. I started my career in a file room and worked my way up to being a senior analyst. We must restore America’s promise of economic opportunity for any who are willing to work for it.

I believe that healthcare is a human right. I believe in choice. I believe that we have a responsibility to our seniors to make sure they can live their lives with dignity. I believe in the right of LGBTQ Coloradans to have full access to healthcare options and I believe every individual has a right to identity documents that match their true selves.

I believe that public education is the cornerstone of American democracy. Every child should have access to universal preschool and kindergarten, a good neighborhood school, and a post-graduate plan that works for them.

I believe that we only have one planet – and greed will kill it if we do not act quickly. We have a moral responsibility to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, conserve our beautiful lands, and promote sustainable development. We do not have a Planet B.

I believe in you. I believe that everyone should have the right to stroll down the sidewalk holding their partner’s hand without fear. Love is love.

I believe in us. Make no mistake: Our nation is at a crossroads, and this is a scary time. But I know that if we work together and stay true to our values, we will rise above. We will resist the Trump Administration and will restore the promise of the American Dream for all of Colorado’s residents.

For those of who you are hurting, scared, or uncertain of your place in America: I hear you. I stand with you. You are not alone.

This grassroots campaign is about empowering the working people of Senate District 32. I would be honored to have your support and your voice in my campaign.

In solidarity,

Robert
